University City Hall is an icon of Sharjah’s landscape and epitomises the emirate’s dedication to education and heritage and is a fitting venue for this story which portrays the wise vision that has laid the foundation for the last 50 years and the next 50 years to come. The sequences of the ‘past’, depict life in ancient Sharjah, illustrating the importance of the sea, the library and the spiral. The ‘present’ depicts the emirate’s most important achievements in the fields of education, art, astronomy, construction, communication and ecology, leading to the successes of the present. Enlightenment, family, heritage and culture are held to the light as the means to achievements for the next 50 years for Sharjah and the U.A.E.
